The QC Read & Understood app needs read and write permissions in order to process and track R&U confirmations.

No Content Modification: The app will not change any content within your Confluence pages.

No Content Processing: The app does not process or store the text/content contained on your pages. Page content remains entirely untouched and private.
Space permissions
To function correctly within a Confluence Space, the app user/bot requires the following space access permissions:

View content: Allows the app to detect pages in the space so users can acknowledge them and track compliance.

Edit content: Enables the app to store acknowledgment records, update page metadata related to signatures, and maintain app macros.

Manage all content in space: Required to ensure the app can operate consistently across restricted or custom-permission pages within the space, allowing seamless acknowledgment tracking across your entire workflow.
Page permissions

Read Access (Can view): Required to detect page presence, verify metadata (such as Page ID and title), and display the app interface to users viewing the page.

Write Access (Can edit): Enables the app to store tracking data (such as R&U confirmations and status macros) without modifying the underlying page content.
